Hi, I am Zheyu Tang. You can call me Towns.

I study computer science in the ACM Honors Class at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and am about to begin my sophomore year. Right now, computer architecture and networking draw me in because they reconnect the abstract world of software with concrete limits of time, space, resources, and trade-offs.

I am not in a hurry to claim a fixed research identity. College is still a season of exploration: building real things, asking one more “why,” and letting new experience revise an old judgment.

Beyond technology

Basketball and strength training return me to the body. Books and podcasts lend me other ways of seeing. Mindfulness reminds me to notice the present. These are not résumé labels; they are how I find rhythm, understand myself, and stay awake to life.
